Edward Moncada

Edward is a Managing Partner of Protofund and was formerly Co-Founder and CEO of Blockfolio (now FTX_app). While at its helm, Edward grew Blockfolio into the world's #1 mobile crypto portfolio tracker (eventually reaching more than 6 million users) as well as into one of the Blockchain industry's most beloved brands. Blockfolio went on to be acquired by FTX in 2020. Edward now leverages his experiences as an operator for the benefit of the portfolio companies at Protofund, an early stage venture firm focused on web3 and consumer technology which he co-founded alongside Jonathan Chu, former Sr. VP of Product and Operations at Blockfolio.
