Joe Ziolkowski

Joe Ziolkowski is the CEO & Co-Founder of Relm Insurance, Ltd. Joe’s decade-long track record as a risk management professional and insurance entrepreneur includes the successful launch of two insurance company startups along with execution of alternative risk financing and risk transfer solutions for national and multinational companies. In 2019, Joe Co-Founded Relm Insurance, Ltd. the first digital asset insurer licensed under the Bermuda Monetary Authority’s new “innovation” framework. As the CEO of Relm, Joe leads underwriting, portfolio management and [product development] initiatives across the crypto/blockchain ecosystem. Under his leadership, Relm has pioneered the development of innovative products including coverage for staking/slashing events, property exposures for Bitcoin miners, directors and officers liability insurance for token issuers and smart contract failure. Joe received a BS in Management & Business from Skidmore College in 2004. He holds the professional designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and an Associates in Underwriting Management from The Institutes.
