Mark Wetjen

Mark leads FTX’s policy and regulatory strategy efforts and has more than twenty years of experience in the areas of policy making, strategy and financial-infrastructure operations. He has held senior-management roles at DTCC and MIAX Exchange Group, and also served as a commissioner and acting chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Under Mark’s leadership the CFTC permitted the first Bitcoin derivative to be listed on a U.S. federally licensed platform.
