Will Peets

Will is the CIO and Founder of 100 Acre Ventures, a technical investment firm focused on the emerging digital asset class, investing in technology that empowers inclusive markets and entitles access to an open global financial system. Since 2016, he has invested extensively in the digital currency space, making early stage investments in traditional equity, base protocols, decentralized applications, and seeding some of the most prominent crypto funds. Prior to 100 Acre Ventures, Will spent six years at Passport Capital serving as the Chief Investment Officer of Passport Digital Holdings and Chief Risk Officer for Passport Capital. Before Passport, his focus was in quantitative finance and risk management, holding several roles within MSCI (Barra/Risk Metrics). He is a CFA charter holder and has a BS in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. He currently sits on the Dean's Advisory Council for the college of business.
